"WEAR WHITE AT WORK" – 29 May

On 29 May ‘Wear white at work’ and donate a gold coin to show your support for mental illness sufferers and families of suicide victims. Each year we have to come to terms with the suicide of thousands of fellow Australians (men, women and children). For those left behind by these tragedies the hurt is unimaginable. The White Wreath Association provides 24-hour support for anyone who is in need, by providing advocacy, assistance and support to both families and individuals who have been affected by a mental illness or suicide. Together we can continue to provide families and individuals with the support and care that they need in order to reduce suicide rates in Australia.

Every year during “Sock It To Suicide Week” we encourage everyone to wear bright coloured Socks/Stockings to their workplace, school etc and raise funds in support of White Wreath Assoc and help us combat our high suicide rate.

We need 20 million dollars to secure land and lay foundations so we can build White Wreath’s Safehaven Centres for those when suicide threatens. A Place of Safety. Please click on this link for more information on our Safehaven Centres
